eTrex 22X Handheld GPS

Description

The included USB cable makes it easy to connect the eTrex 22X to your PC or Mac without the need for extra accessories, and with the free BaseCamp software you can manage and organise waypoints on your computer before transferring them easily to the GPS. The eTrex 22X can also accept GPX files allowing for paper-free geocaching – no more manually entering coordinates and scribbling down notes, just upload the file and start hunting for caches! With 8GB of internal memory, plus a microSD card slot, you’ll have plenty of space for all your mapping needs.
The high sensitivity EGNOS-enabled GPS receiver can locate and maintain your position even in wooded areas or around tall buildings or cliffs, and the ability to track both the GPS and GLONASS (from 2012) networks makes position 'lock on' up to 20% faster, with 24 more satellites available than with GPS-only handsets. The preloaded TopoActive GPS mapping makes navigating Europe a breeze, while adventures in the UK are able to be enhanced with the ability to add Ordnance Survey maps at an additional cost.
